The Finnish Karl Marx Society

The Finnish Karl Marx Society was founded in 1997. It aims to promote the critical study and further development of the scientific heritage of Karl Marx, encourage research in the tradition of dialectical thought and to seek alternative viewpoints in social and economic sciences.

As a research-oriented association, the Karl Marx Society will promote its goals by organizing and supporting seminars, co-operating with other institutions and publishing books.

The society does not demand ideological or political allegiances from its members.
